Even with the weather turning colder, I can’t give up my smoothie bowls. I’ve still been making my classic chocolate smoothie bowl on repeat, but I knew I had to make an even more festive version for fall.
If you follow me on Instagram you know that this chocolate banana smoothie bowl has been on REPEAT lately. I don’t usually get so obsessed with one meal or combo, but I’ll be the first to admit that I’m addicted to this smoothie.

I’m so excited to share this cinnamon banana smoothie with you guys!! When I first started the Specific Carbohydrate Diet I kind of fell off my smoothie game because I could no longer have my normal protein powders (read: super sweet protein powders full of stevia, gums and other crap that was v bad for my stomach).
Does anyone else use cooking/baking as a way to procrastinate? I usually HATE procrastinating and typically get all of my schoolwork done days in advance (call me a nerd), but sometimes homework becomes a black hole and the only way out is to do something that makes my soul happy. So when I do procrastinate, it’s what I call productive procrastination. I’m the queen of it. It’s when I know I need to work on an essay for class, but instead draft 4 blog posts, reorganize my entire pantry and make homemade hummus, pesto AND peanut butter.
