February means Valentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day means dessert, but dessert doesn’t have to mean added sugars and nasty ingredients. 😉

I’ve always believed that you can recreate ANY food or dish into something nutritious that will serve your body in the way that food should. Food shouldn’t make you feel sluggish, tired or anything less than your best self.

I love being able to turn classic favorites (especially desserts) into something healthy because 1. It proves healthy can be DELISH and 2. I can then eat dessert for breakfast and have it be socially acceptable. 😉

This month, as well all know, is all about love, but as a proud single lady, I’m devoting this month to SELF love. Take this month to show yourself, mind and body, some love and take care of yourself a little extra. Fuel your body, take a relaxing night for yourself to paint your nails, put on a face mask and listen to your favorite music, workout to prove your own strength to yourself, be kind to yourself, speak to yourself positively, look in the mirror and tell yourself how much you freaking rock every morning.

I try to dedicate every day to self-love, because loving yourself comes first (read my post about how to show yourself more love), but I think it’s especially important around Valentine’s Day. I see way too many perfectly amazing single girls get down on themselves around this time of the year simply because they don’t have a boy to spoil them.

Well you know what? Spoil YOURSELF for once, because you have to completely love yourself before you can receive love from anyone else. J And I suggest you start by spoiling yourself with this dairy free and refined sugar free chocolate raspberry avocado protein pudding. Treating yourself is part of self-love, as is treating your body right. Fueling your body with nutritious foods (aka not filling it with refined sugars and weird additives) is one of my favorite ways to show myself love, and this pudding is the perfect way to do both of those things!

This sweet treat is SO simple to make and packed full of healthy fats and protein make it perfect for any time of the day and never fails to satisfy that sweet tooth without giving you a sugar crash. Best of both worlds!
