“this week was honestly amazing. It really made me stop and think about my approach to the way I lived my life. In the past I’ve tried to tell myself that I need to start loving and accepting myself more, that I need to be conscious of my mindset with positivity and that I need to stop spreading myself so thin and take time to not be stressed, but it is so easy to go back on those things you tell yourself. It literally lasts for a month, maybe, and it feels amazing for that month but then life just seems to keep piling things on top of me one after another and it’s like a lose sight of taking care of myself mentally and spiritually. This week wasn’t just me telling myself I need to change my thoughts though – the videos and journal prompts seemed to hold some level of accountability and that’s exciting and refreshing and I feel like this time it’s really going to stick. And if not, I can always look back on it all and remind myself.”
