Paleo Turmeric Spiced Blondies
(please note, this recipe is sponsored by Pranayums, but all opinions are honest and my own!)
These blondies taste like fall and the holidays and happiness all rolled into one delicious, chocolate-chunky, blondie bar!!!
To get the spice just right I used @pranayums super spice shot packs that I’ve been incorporating into my daily routine, whether in smoothies, on my veggies or in baking.
The group of spices they use have been used by ayurvedics for centuries because of their healthfulness and ability to support your immune system and digestive health (can I get an amen?!), decrease allergy symptoms and boost up the nutrition of your meals and goodies. :)
My naturopath recommended I add more spices to my diet so this has been making it extra convenient!
So what are these super spices included? (information from pranayums.com)
Turmeric: turmeric can boost your immune system and support healthy digestion. It can also help lower inflammation.
Ginger: helps “ignite your digestive fire” and enhance your immune response.
Black pepper: can stimulate digestion and increases the bioavailability of turmeric.
Cardamom: can assist digestion, circulation and metabolism.
Cinnamon: can also assist in digestion and circulation.
and licorice root: supports immunity, helps calm digestion and cold symptoms. It also enhances the body’s immunity response and elevates energy.
PLUS ya’ll know I’m a turmeric junkie because anti-inflammation is the name of the game with IBD. So not only are these paleo blondies DELISH but they’re so good for your gut too!!
